About this policy
Breakroom Gaming Co. develops Blastwing, package com.breakroomgamingco.blastwing. This policy covers the Android and iOS game and the Blastwing browser player.
Blastwing does not require an account. The browser website counts page views and Play-button clicks and offers optional Google Analytics with consent; see the website privacy policy. The game has no real-money purchases, full-game cloud saves, multiplayer chat or online character-generation service. The browser game and older mobile releases have no in-game advertising. Mobile builds that include Ad Options can offer optional ad rewards as described below; an ad feature being documented here does not mean it is enabled in every build or region. Starting with mobile version 0.7.0, optional accounts save personal records and allow opt-in public leaderboard submissions. Older mobile versions and the current browser game keep gameplay records locally.
Local game data
The game saves your pilots and callsigns, cosmetic choices, equipment, materials, mission progress, best scores and audio preferences on your device. The browser edition stores its save in that browser's site data. These saves are not sent to Breakroom Gaming or synchronized between devices.
Custom callsigns are displayed in your own game. Use a fictional callsign and avoid including sensitive personal information. Character portraits can be generated locally or chosen from a photo using the system file or photo picker. Only the image you choose is processed. The game checks it on your device and stores a small, re-encoded portrait in your local save; it does not send your photo, its filename or its metadata to our servers. Portraits are not shared with other players. The game does not request broad photo-library access, contacts, location, microphone, camera or advertising-identifier access.
Optional mobile accounts and online records
Starting with Blastwing 0.7.0 on Android and iOS, you can use the same Breakroom Gaming account as HookRush, Blastwing and Bug Splat. Guest play remains available. Sign in before a run to save private personal records online; practice runs and guest runs are excluded. This does not synchronize your full local game save, equipment, portraits or settings.
Supabase Auth processes your email address, password and account identifier. We store your chosen nickname and public-leaderboard choice with completed results and run times in our hosting database. Blastwing records the mission or Endless mode, score, outcome and run start/end times. Active duration, enemy defeats and completed sectors are submitted to validate results. Requests also include technical information such as your IP address and device/network information used by authentication and hosting providers to operate and secure the service. Your password is not stored in the game; renewable sign-in credentials use Android Keystore or iOS Keychain protection.
Public leaderboard participation is off for a new account until you opt in. If you opt in, your nickname and eligible scores are public; your email is not displayed. This visibility choice applies across all Breakroom games and can be turned off at any time. Existing accounts retain their chosen visibility. Signing out stops new runs from being added to your account.
Open Account / Records in the hangar to sign in, view records, change visibility, sign out or delete your account. Account deletion removes online records across all three games and website account data; it leaves local game progress on your devices. The website account page also provides deletion, password help and data export. Account features are intended for players aged 13 and older. Account records are kept until you delete the account or request deletion, subject to security, backup and legal retention described in our account privacy policy. Providers include Supabase, Cloudflare and Resend.
Optional mobile ad rewards
In supported Android and iOS builds, adults who choose the 18-or-older option can enable optional rewarded ads through Ad Options. The choice is stored locally; we do not ask for a birth date. Players who select Under 18 do not receive this optional ad setup or rewarded-ad offers. All ordinary gameplay, fighters and equipment remain available through play without ad rewards.
Google AdMob provides the mobile ad service, with Unity Ads available as an additional ad source through mediation. Google's User Messaging Platform processes consent choices and technical information when you set up ads. When ads are requested, Google and Unity may process and share IP addresses and approximate location derived from them, device/app or SDK-generated identifiers, ad views and interactions, purchase or conversion information associated with ad measurement, and diagnostic and performance information. Technical details can include device model, operating system, language and network information. These data support advertising, analytics, service operation, security and fraud prevention. Blastwing has no real-money purchases and does not send an in-game purchase history to these providers.
Blastwing requests contextual, non-personalized ads and restricted data processing, disables Unity behavioral advertising, removes Android advertising-ID permissions and does not request Apple's tracking authorization. Non-personalized or limited ads still involve data processing; these settings do not eliminate the data categories described above. If you use an ad's optional reporting feature, Unity may receive your report and information about the ad to investigate it and provide support.
Blastwing does not send your pilot portrait, callsign, equipment or saved gameplay scores to Google or Unity for ad rewards. The optional account/records service is separate. An ad reward is saved as local salvage and does not increase your leaderboard score.
Use Ad Options to turn optional ads off. Where required, Ad Privacy Choices lets you revisit consent or sale/sharing choices. Turning ads off prevents new app-initiated ad requests; it does not delete information already processed by an ad provider. Provider handling, retention and privacy-request options are described in the Google Privacy Policy and Unity Game Player and App User Privacy Policy. You can also contact us using the address below about privacy requests.
Services and support
Google Play and Apple operate their own download, testing, security and diagnostic services. Information you choose to send through their testing or crash-reporting features is handled according to their policies. Their services are separate from Blastwing's local gameplay save.
Opening the privacy or support website sends a normal web request, which can include your IP address, browser/device details and security logs processed by our hosting provider. The shared account service is described in the account privacy policy. Blastwing's full local gameplay saves stay separate from its optional online run records.
If you contact breakroomgamingco@gmail.com, we receive the email address, message and attachments you send and use them to respond and investigate the issue. Please share only what is needed. Support correspondence is kept while needed to resolve your request or meet legal obligations.
Provider information: Google Privacy Policy, Apple Privacy Policy and Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
Your choices
You can edit or remove individual custom pilots in the Crew menu, or replace a chosen photo with a generated portrait in the Recruit Workshop. You can remove all locally stored game progress by clearing the app's storage in your device settings or clearing Blastwing's browser site data. Removing local data is permanent unless your operating system has made a backup; device backup and restore are controlled by your platform settings.
Starting with version 0.7.0, delete an optional Breakroom Gaming account using Account / Records → Delete account, or the website account page. This removes online account records across all three games. We have no full gameplay-save copy on our servers to recover. Email us about access, correction or deletion of information you have sent to support. Privacy rights depend on where you live.
Blastwing is a general-audience space-combat game and is not specifically directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect children's personal information through gameplay. Contact us if a child has sent personal information to support so we can address it.
